Women's Lacrosse Sends 30 to Patriot League Honor Roll
WORCESTER, Mass. – The Holy Cross women’s lacrosse team placed 30 student-athletes onto the 2018 Patriot League Academic Honor Roll. The Crusaders placed the second most on the Honor Roll in the league with 30. Holy Cross also improved from 11 selections in 2017 to 30 selections.
As seniors, Julia Maloney and Kerianne Moran each earned a spot on the Honor Roll. Juniors Button, Keely Connors, Julia Insani, and Molly Pfaff and sophomores Emily Bivona, Bryn Carroll, Maggie Funk, Emma Gill, Audrey Mandaro, Siobhan McDermott, Kara McDuffee, Maggie Moriarty, Sophie Ochs, and Peyton Sventy all earned a spot. Each member of the freshman class also earned selections: Mairead Anderson, Sydney Brant, Emily Culbertson, Emily DeMaso, Dana Dinardo, Meg Donahue, Shannon Dudeck, Julia Gasbarre, Izzy Grant, Catherine Guanci, Stephanie Petras, Lily Sheridan, Meredith Strott, and Haley Walker.
The Patriot League has announced 215 women’s lacrosse student-athletes from the League’s 10 programs were named to the 2018 Patriot League Women’s Lacrosse Academic Honor Roll. To be eligible for the Patriot League Winter/Spring Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must earn a 3.20 grade-point average in the spring semester and participate in one of the Patriot League's winter or spring championship sports.
