Kirpas is in his second year as an assistant coach for the Holy Cross women's basketball team in 2019-2020.
In his first season, Kirpas helped guide the Crusaders to their best record since the 2013-14 season (18-13) and a berth in the Patriot League semifinal.
Kirpas makes his way back to Holy Cross after spending four years as an undergraduate student from 2010 to 2014. During his time as a Crusader, he worked with the women's basketball program as the student director of basketball operations. After graduation, Kirpas went on to work at the University of Rhode Island as the video coordinator, where he was responsible for all filming software and exchange.
In 2016, he moved on to work as the operations coordinator at Brown for the women's basketball program. His responsibilities included handling all aspects of team travel, budget, administration and fundraising. He was promoted in 2017 to the assistant coach for the Bears. Kirpas helped coach the team to a 15-12 record, which included the best start in program history (12-1) and a 10-game win streak.
In addition to receiving a bachelor's degree in chemistry from Holy Cross in 2014, Kirpas also received his master's degree in sports management from Providence in 2017.
