Max Mobley is currently in his first season at Holy Cross as an assistant men's hockey coach in 2019-20.
Mobley comes to Holy Cross after spending the 2018-19 season as a volunteer coach at Notre Dame. With the Fighting Irish, Mobley aided the rest of the coaching staff to earn a No. 1 national ranking, B1G Ten Tournament Championship, and a NCAA Northeast Regional Final appearance.
Prior to Notre Dame, Mobley spent four seasons at Hamilton as an assistant coach. Mobley led the individual skill development and penalty kill. As the co-head of recruiting, he helped the team to a 2016-17 NESCAC Regular Season championship and a program record in wins. With Hamilton, Mobley guided the program to an NCAA Tournament and an Elite Eight appearance.
Mobley also served as a volunteer coach at his alma mater, St. Lawrence University. While wearing a Saints jersey, Mobley earned the ECAC Student-Athlete award three times (2010-2012). He went on to play professionally in the ECHL and SPHL after graduating with a history degree from St. Lawrence.
