Women's Track and Field Earns 42 Selections to Patriot League Honor Roll
Forty-two members of the Holy Cross women’s track and field team have been named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll for Winter/Spring 2018-2019, the conference announced on Friday, June 21.
Three Crusaders recorded a perfect 4.0 grade point average during the Spring 2019 semester: senior Katherine Guilbo (biology), junior Allison McArdle (biology) and junior Deana Pileika (interdisciplinary studies). Guilbo has been named to the honor roll for track and field four times in her career.
Juniors Allie Christian, Taylor Gensler, Katy McNamara, Jillian Purtell, Morgan Sanders and Allie Smiley all earned selections. From the sophomore class, the Patriot League honored Riemke Bouvier, Madalyne Buco, Sydney Coddington, Grace Goodwin, Claire Hanlon, Mackenzie Jordan, Marina MacKinnon, Grace Manning, Abbie Mokwuah, Kathryn O’Sullivan, Cricket Richter, Haley Sullivan, Caitlin Tzimorotas and Alyson Walsh.
Freshmen Vanessa Attaya, Meah Austin, Sam Carroll, Brianna Cummings, Emily Foley, KC Grady, Michaela Halloran, Gabby Harmon, Jackie Harrington, Emily Koufos, Hailey Mulville, Milly O’Brien, Kelsey O’Hara and Jordyn Shubrick earned their first honor roll selections for track and field.
A total of 312 women’s track and field student-athletes were named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll. To be eligible for the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must earn a GPA of 3.2 or higher during the spring semester.
