The Holy Cross men’s basketball team hits the road this weekend, heading to Boston University for a 1:00 p.m. contest on Saturday, Feb. 10. The game between the Crusaders and the Terriers can be seen online through the Patriot League Network, and will also air live on WEEI 1440 AM in Worcester.

Holy Cross owns an overall record of 8-16 on the season with a 5-8 mark in the Patriot League. The Crusaders have won three of their last five games, but were defeated by Navy 69-34 on Tuesday night. Holy Cross currently ranks second in the Patriot League in scoring defense (68.9 points per game) and turnover margin (+0.9 turnovers per game).

Junior forward Jehyve Floyd has led the team by averaging 11.7 points, 5.6 rebounds and 1.9 blocks per game, while ranking fifth in the nation with a .685 field goal percentage. Freshman guard Caleb Green has also been playing well, with averages of 8.8 points, 2.8 assists and 2.5 rebounds per contest. Freshman guard Austin Butler has added 8.7 points and 3.0 boards per game, while freshman forward Jacob Grandison is chipping in with 7.7 points and 3.9 rebounds per contest.

Boston University currently stands 12-12 overall and is in third place in the Patriot League with an 8-5 mark in conference play. The Terriers have lost three of their last four games, including a 74-60 setback at Colgate on Wednesday night.

Senior guard Cedric Hankerson has led the team by averaging 13.7 points, 3.4 rebounds and 1.4 steals per game, but has not played since Jan. 20 due to injury. Sophomore forward Max Mahoney has added 12.5 points and 4.9 boards per contest, while sophomore forward Tyler Scanlon is chipping in with 10.4 points, 5.5 rebounds and 2.8 assists per game.

After the contest with Loyola, Holy Cross will return home to face Navy at 7:05 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 7.
