WORCESTER, Mass. - The Holy Cross men's soccer team will take on the Boston University Terriers in the Patriot League semifinal on Nov. 10 at 8:05 p.m. The game will be streamed on the Patriot League Network.

• Rupp scored the fastest goal of the 2017 season in the top of the third minute. Cestaro followed it up with a goal in the 12th minute and then Brad Ross headed in a corner kick in the 13th minute.
Max Krause recorded two helpers in the game, tying a single-game high for the rookie and a Patriot League tournament game high.
Henry Stutz posted seven saves to preserve his sixth clean sheet of the season.

Amazing Arno
• Senior forward Arno Rupp leads the team with 18 points. He has scored eight goals and three have served as game-winners.
• He has tallied 43 career points and has moved into the 11th spot on the all-time career points list at Holy Cross.
• On Nov. 7 he was named the Patriot League Scholar Athlete of the Year and to the Academic All-Patriot League with a 3.77 gpa as a mathematics and economics major. The last Crusader to nab this honor was Rusty Giudici in 2002.

Holy Cross in the Tournament
• The Crusaders have played in 18 Patriot League Tournament games with a 4-10-4 record.
• Holy Cross is 2-8-2 in semifinal games. In the last two semifinal appearances for the Crusaders, the team advanced in penalty kicks (2013, 2008).
• After Wednesday’s win over Lehigh, Holy Cross is 2-0-0 in quarterfinal games.

The Crusaders in the Patriot League
• Holy Cross finished in fifth place in the league with a 4-3-2 conference record, despite being picked tenth in the preseason poll.
• The four league wins is the most since the 2013 season.
• Three Crusaders were tabbed for All-Patriot League honors as Justin Carfora and Arno Rupp were Second Team selections. Yuji Callahan was a Third Team selection for the second-consecutive season.
• With a fifth-place finish, the Crusaders secured their Patriot League Tournament bid for the first time since 2013, when the team finished in third place and advanced to the championship game.

All-Time vs. the Terriers
• The Crusaders are 2-12-4 against the Terriers all-time. In the 2017 season, Holy Cross was defeated by Boston University, 3-0, on Oct. 4.
• The semifinal game will be the first post-season match-up between the Crusaders and the Terriers.

Scouting Boston University
• The Terriers enter the Tournament as a No. 2 seed, finishing the regular season with a 7-8-3 overall record and 6-2-1 Patriot League record.
• Boston University has not scored a goal in their last 207 minutes of play, when they defeated Army, 3-1, on Oct. 25. Since then, the Terriers tied at Bucknell (Oct. 28, 0-0) and fell to Colgate (Nov. 3, 4-0).
• The Terriers are led by Toti Knutsson and Matt McDonnell. Kuntsson has tallied three goals and five assists for 11 points in 16 games played. McDonnell has scored four goals and added one assist for nine points in 17 games played.
• Three goalkeepers have seen time for the Terriers, led by Michael Bernardi (1039:21 minutes). Bernardi has played12 games for a 6-5-1 record, six shutouts, a 1.30 goals against average, and .674 save percentage.
