Hannah Jeter Named C&R Tire Crusader Of The Week

Holy Cross Athletics   10-31-2016

WORCESTER, Mass. – Junior Hannah Jeter has been named the C&R Tire Crusader of the Week, for competition from Oct. 24-30. Jeter led the Holy Cross women’s cross country team to a third-place finish at last weekend’s Patriot League Championship.

At the Patriot League Championship, Jeter finished in sixth place as an individual with a time of 21:41.4. She posted the best individual finish by a Holy Cross runner at the Patriot League Championship since the 2010 season, while receiving first team All-Patriot League honors for her efforts. The Crusaders’ third-place finish as a team was their best since tying for third in 2001.

Jeter has now placed in the top 10 at the Patriot League Championship for three straight years, after previously finishing seventh in 2014 and ninth in 2015.

The Crusaders return to action on Friday, Nov. 11, when they take part in the NCAA Northeast Regional at Van Cortlandt Park in the Bronx, N.Y.
