Men's Soccer 2019 Schedule Set
WORCESTER, Mass. – The Holy Cross men’s soccer coach Marco Koolman has announced the Crusaders’ 2019 schedule. This season will feature 18 regular season games, including 10 home games at Linda Johnson Smith Soccer Stadium.
The Crusaders’ 2019 slate includes two 2018 NCAA Tournament participants, Rhode Island and reigning Patriot League Tournament champions Colgate.
Holy Cross will open the 2019 season in California at Santa Clara on Aug. 30. To open the home schedule, the Crusaders will host UMass Lowell (Sept. 9) and Boston College (Sept. 10). Holy Cross will continue its non-conference action at Fordham (Sept. 14) and will host Northeastern (Sept. 17).
To kick off Patriot League action, Holy Cross will travel to Annapolis to take on Navy on Sept. 21. Before continuing conference play, the Crusaders will host Rhode Island (Sept. 24). Holy Cross will then play Lafayette at home, at Boston University, at home against American, and at home against Bucknell before another non-conference break.
The Crusaders will travel to Delaware on Oct. 16 to start a four-game road swing. Holy Cross will face Army, Brown and Loyola (Md.) during that stretch. Holy Cross will close the regular season with three-consecutive home games starting with Vermont on Oct. 29. The Crusaders will wrap up regular season play with Lehigh (Nov. 2) and Colgate (Nov. 6).
The Patriot League Tournament will begin with the quarterfinal round on Nov. 9. The semifinals will take place on Nov. 12 and the championship game on Nov. 16.
