WORCESTER, Mass. – The Holy Cross women’s soccer team tied with Fordham, 0-0, on Sunday afternoon in Bronx, N.Y. The Rams outshot the Crusaders 2-0 in the opening 45 minutes of play. Neither team registered a shot on goal in the first half. In the second half Fordham managed five shot attempts, while the Crusaders registered two. Each team notched a shot on goal before the end of regulation.
In overtime, Fordham outshot the Crusaders 4-0. The Rams notched two shots on goal in extra time, but sophomore Caroline Cashion made a pair of saves to keep the game tied.
