WORCESTER, Mass. – The Holy Cross women’s soccer team is set to begin a three-game homestand this Saturday when Lehigh comes to Worcester for a Patriot League battle.
“This game is a crucial conference match,” head coach Casey Brown said. “Our group has been working hard all week and we are looking forward to build off the momentum from last week’s strong performance, particularly in converting opportunities in the attack. Beyond the competitive standpoint of this game, it also will be a special one as we honor our seven special seniors for all they have given to this program the past four years. “
Things to know about Holy Cross (3-8-0, 1-3-0 PL):
- This contest will be the Crusaders’ Senior Day as they honor Emma Gurchiek, Lily Puccia, Ang Seslija, Cassie Symonds, Megan Lawlor, Stephanie Lund, and Caroline Wallace.
- The Crusaders are currently tied in the conference standings with Loyola for the final playoff spot. A win would put them in much better standing to reach the post season.

- Loyola is led by Hannah Hoefs’ 10 points from four goals and two assists.
- Sumer Rahe has started all 12 games in goal for the greyhounds, posting a 1.22 goals against average and a .659 save percentage.
