Men's Tennis Claims the 6-1 Victory Over Clark

WORCESTER, Mass. - The Holy Cross men’s tennis team defeated Clark University, 6-1, Friday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED

  • The Crusaders claimed the team point from doubles winning No. 1 doubles with freshmen Will Chen and Alexander Ruenhorst, 7-5, and No. 3 doubles with junior Matthew Murphy and senior Henry Harrs, 6-2.
  • Chen also won at No. 1 snigles, 6-7, 6-0, 13-11.
  • Ruenhorst claimed a victory at No. 3 singles, 6-4, 6-2.
  • Sophomore Matthew Slowinski got thebest of his No. 4 singles competition, 6-1, 6-1.
  • Senior Peter Campito won at No. 5 singles, 6-0, 6-1.
  • Harrs wrapped up the team victory with a win at No. 6 singles, 6-2, 4-6, 10-8.

UP NEXT

The Crusaders take on Springfield next Wednesday at 4:00 p.m.
