Women's Tennis Fall 2018 Schedule Announced
WORCESTER, Mass. – Head coach Mike Lucas of the Holy Cross women’s tennis team has announced the fall 2018 schedule. The squad has 11 events on the agenda for its fall season, including five home and six away beginning with the Holy Cross Doubles Invitational on Sep.1.
One highlight of the 2018 schedule includes a trip to Mount Holyoke on Oct. 4. Last season, the Crusaders faced off against the Lyons in a tight matchup which Holy Cross eventually won, 5-4. Seniors Jennifer Kary and Caroline Kam picked up a pair of wins in singles matches, while seniors Allison Reiling and Morgan McGuire won in doubles. Kam also picked up a doubles victory alongside former teammate Meghan Lewis. The deciding point came down to Katie Elia, now graduated, who won her singles match to give the Crusaders the victory. This year, Holy Cross will look to someone else to edge out the Lyons.
The fall schedule will wrap up with a home match against Monmouth on Oct. 14.
