The Holy Cross men’s basketball team returns to Worcester for Winter Homecoming, when it will play host to Lafayette at 2:05 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 27. The contest between the Crusaders and the Leopards can be seen online through the Patriot League Network, and will also air live on WEEI 1440 AM in Worcester.

Holy Cross owns an overall record of 6-14 on the season with a 3-6 mark in the Patriot League. The Crusaders have won two of their last three games, and are coming off a 60-57 victory at American on Monday. Holy Cross currently leads the Patriot League with a +1.1 turnover margin, while standing second in scoring defense (69.2 points per game).

Junior forward Jehyve Floyd has led the team by averaging 11.3 points, 5.5 rebounds and 1.6 blocks per game, while ranking ninth in the nation with a .649 field goal percentage. Junior forward Karl Charles has also been playing well, with averages of 9.7 points, 2.8 assists, 2.6 rebounds and 1.4 steals per contest. Freshman guard Caleb Green has added 9.1 points, 2.8 assists and 2.5 boards per game, while freshman guard Austin Butler is chipping in with 7.8 points and 2.9 rebounds per contest.

Lafayette enters the game with an overall record of 5-15 and stands 3-6 in the Patriot League. The Leopards have dropped five of their last six games, including a 75-72 setback against Boston University on Wednesday.

Senior forward Matt Klinewski has led the team by averaging 18.1 points and 6.0 rebounds per game, while hitting 51.0 percent of his field goal attempts. Freshman guard Alex Petrie has added 13.2 points and 2.3 boards per contest, while freshman guard Justin Jaworski is chipping in with 10.3 points and 2.3 rebounds per game.

After the contest with Lafayette, Holy Cross will remain at home for a 7:05 p.m. game with Lehigh on Monday, Jan. 29. The match-up between the Crusaders and the Mountain Hawks will be shown live to a national audience on the CBS Sports Network.
