The Holy Cross men’s basketball team returns home this week, playing host to Navy at 7:05 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 7. The game between the Crusaders and the Midshipmen will be televised live by Charter TV3 and the Patriot League Network, and can be heard live on WEEI 1440 AM in Worcester.

Holy Cross owns an overall record of 8-15 on the season with a 5-7 mark in the Patriot League. The Crusaders have won three of their last four games, and are coming off a 73-57 victory at Loyola (Md.) on Saturday. Holy Cross currently ranks second in the Patriot League in scoring defense (68.9 points per game), turnover margin (+1.1 turnovers per game) and assist-to-turnover ratio (1.1-to-1).

Junior forward Jehyve Floyd has led the team by averaging 11.8 points, 5.7 rebounds and 1.9 blocks per game, while ranking fifth in the nation with a .686 field goal percentage. Junior forward Karl Charles has also been playing well, with averages of 10.2 points, 3.1 assists, 2.9 rebounds and 1.5 steals per contest. Freshman guard Austin Butler has added 9.0 points and 3.1 boards per game, while freshman guard Caleb Green is chipping in with 8.9 points, 3.0 assists and 2.6 rebounds per contest.

Navy enters the game at 15-10 overall and 6-6 in the Patriot League. The Midshipmen have won two of their last three games, but were defeated by Colgate 69-64 on Sunday.

Senior guard Shawn Anderson has led the team by averaging 13.2 points, 5.3 rebounds and 3.3 assists per game, while hitting 75.5 percent of his free throws. Senior guard Bryce Dulin has added 10.8 points and 3.0 boards per contest, while junior guard Hasan Abdullah is chipping in with 10.0 points, 3.8 assists and 3.1 rebounds per game.

After the contest with Loyola, Holy Cross will return home to face Navy at 7:05 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 7.
