Crusader Athletics Fund Breaks Records in 2018-2019

Holy Cross Athletics   07-18-2019

The Crusader Athletics Fund (CAF) set a new record for donations and donors in 2018-2019 by raising $2.1 million dollars in support of student-athletes from more than 4,700 donors, surpassing the previous achievement of $2.08 million. These numbers would not be achievable without the generosity and support of Holy Cross alumni, parents, student-athletes, friends, faculty, and staff.

“Thank you to all of our generous donors for such an exciting and empowering level of support,” said Holy Cross Director of Athletics Marcus Blossom. “The support we receive from our alumni, parents, fans and friends at this record-setting level allows us to continually build toward greater success. We are grateful for those who believe in what we stand for on Mount St. James, and we will continue to push the boundaries of what we can achieve together.”

“It was an exciting year for Holy Cross Athletics thanks to the support from a record number of alumni, parents and friends,” said Cara Hanrahan Abraham, director of the Crusader Athletics Fund. “The College received an unprecedented level of support this year and breaking the fundraising record for the Crusader Athletics Fund is a special moment in our athletic department’s history. Our alumni, parents and friends know how special Holy Cross is and how transformative the student-athlete experience is, and it is inspirational to witness the impact that people who believe so strongly in what we’re doing at Holy Cross have on our 700 student-athletes. Thank you, Crusader Nation, for your record-breaking level of support!”
